Allison & Andrew were married on a September afternoon at Estate 248 in Aldergrove, BC. You may remember these two from earlier in the blog and their amazing helicopter engagement session last year. They were one of the most relaxed couples I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. We had an amazing morning take detail photos at Estate 248, there are so many beautiful corners around the property and cute house the bride gets ready in. The ceremony was setup on the side of a barn, so cute; and also a great space for a first look! There were a lot of special touches at this wedding, Andrews grandma’s ginger cookie recipe was used for the most delicious cookies ever! The couple made a nice jar or cider spices for all their guests to enjoy this winter, and it smelled amazing!!
I would say the morning was beautiful and sunny but it was a traditional September morning where the weather wasn’t sure if it was going to rain or shine, and we had the more amazing overcast light all morning… which was fantastic for photos! Estate 248 is a beautiful venue for a small to mid sized wedding. The sprinkle or rain won’t bother you here as there are a lot of roofed areas for you to hide under.
