Amanda & Greg has a beautiful Pitt Meadows Golf Club wedding in early summer. Their beautiful affair was romantic & traditional, with beautiful accents of eggplant, lavender, grays and silver. The day started off with the bride, bridesmaids and her family getting ready at the brides house in Port Coquitlam, then off to the church for a beautiful catholic ceremony. The ceremony was lovely because the priest really knew the couple, he was funny, he had great stories, but he knew Amanda since she was a child, so the advice was sincere and emotional. But also really funny at times!
The reception and portraits were following at Pitt Meadows Golf Club. What I love about this golf club for weddings is that they allow you to do the portraits on the property, without disrupting golfers of course. But it’s lovely that the portraits match the feel of the wedding day and the reception venue.
The couple met in high school; during the production of the school musical, “Aida” where they both participated.
My favourite part of their story is the amazing proposal that Greg thought out ever so carefully. Amanda’s side of the story is that she was “dragged” out for a hike at Quarry Rock; while there with a few friends Greg plotted a geocash ahead of time and surprised her with hiding the ring in the geocash. Worth the hike I think!
