3 Tips to an amazing sunset photo session

Sunset and sunrise are the golden hours for photographers. They are the times in the day when photographers love to take photo because we get the best light. It’s the most flattering light for our couples, there are so many ways to work with it, and it also allows us to shoot just about anywhere without getting squinting or harsh shadows! Here are some tips on how to make your Sunset photo sessions Ah-mazing!

Ask your photographer what time is the best time for your sunset session. There are a number of apps that I like to use to help me pick the best time. Lumy is my favourite!

Make sure to show up on time or early for your session! The difficult thing about shooting at sunset is that once the sun goes down it gets dark quick, so you’re likely to get a shorter session and less photos from your session if you show up late!

Pick a location that has tall surroundings for example tall buildings or tall trees, that way you’ll be able to start shooting a bit early and get more our of the sunset.
